factors affecting this wellbeing. The subjects were 247 parents living in Gwangju. The data were analyzed with frequency, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Croanbach <\/span><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family:\ud568\ucd08\ub86c\ubc14\ud0d5;mso-font-width:100%;letter-spacing:0pt;mso-text-raise:0pt;\">\u03b1 <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family:\ud568\ucd08\ub86c\ubc14\ud0d5;mso-font-width:100%;letter-spacing:0pt;mso-text-raise:0pt;\">was computed using the reliabilities of scales. The study examined the population sociological characteristics that affect parents` subjective wellbeing. It showed that gender, age, occupation, and religion significantly affected parents` subjective wellbeing. However, years of schooling and income level were not significant. In sum, while outer standards among population sociological characteristics did not significantly affect gender, age, occupation, and religion, which is a subjective satisfaction significance. Among the psychological factors, the factors that affect parents` subjective wellbeing the most were subjective health status and self-esteem life events. In the regression analysis, there were significant relationships between parents` self-esteem, subjective health status, income, religion, and parents` subjective wellbeing.
