Counselors are the people who are interested in enhancing other`s happiness and they demonstrate their specialty in those areas. According to the properties of clients and the problems they want to consult, counselors apply various methods. However, from the aspect that they eventually contribute to the increase in clients` happiness through counseling, each counselor has an identical purpose. Most of human life consists of work. Therefore, work is the core part of life. From this point of view, only when you are satisfied with your current work that you are engaged in, you can enjoy a happy life. Considering the above facts, it is the most important that counselors advise clients to have an amicable work life for an increase in their happiness. Based on such assumptions, this study investigated the following. First, what is a happy life and how is it related to work life? Second, why is a work life so important individually and socially? Third, how happy workers can be described from the viewpoint of the career theories? Fourth, what are the modern trends in changes in organization related to working life and what does such change demand of workers? Fifth, what are the conditions that make a happy life possible? Sixth, through what roles can counselors advise about a happy working life? Seventh, what are the tasks that counselors should be more interested in for giving advice concerning a happy working life?
